An Independent Catholic Girls Secondary college - Day and Boarding

Where Ambition Meets Compassion

Academic Mentoring

We strongly believe that education is a partnership between the student, parents/carers and the school.

Academic Conferences

Academic conferences take place twice a year. Girls, along with their parents, meet with teachers to discuss their progress and learning goals. This structure means that the girls are in control of their learning journey and they are encouraged to take responsibility for their success.

For those remotely-based parents who cannot attend the academic conferences, skype interviews are arranged on request.

Subject Expos

Our Subject Expos are held in Term 2 and are an ideal way for students in Years 8 and 10, along with their parents, to explore subject offerings and talk to teachers in an informal setting. We believe it is vital that parents/carers take an active role in the process of subject selection. Teachers, Heads of Faculty and Pastoral Leaders are all available for parents to talk to during this process.

Academic Mentoring

Students’ academic progress is monitored throughout their years at the College. Our Pastoral Leaders, Heads of Faculty, Deputy Principal and Principal meet regularly to ensure students are on track to achieve their goals and to provide careers counselling.

Our teachers and staff are always seeking opportunity for students to engage in external learning programs and activities as we believe this will only enrich their learning and broaden their horizons of life outside of the College.
