Pastoral
As we move into the online learning space to put in place increasingly strict social-distancing measures for the well-being our students, staff and families in our community, we know these new measures may take a toll on mental health in people all around the world.
The Pastoral team, in conjunction with our College Psychologist Mrs Courtney Zagami, have compiled resources for students around maintaining positive mental health, which can be found via the Learning@Home tile on the homepage of The Learning Hub.
Information and resources include:
- Accessing Pastoral Care
- External resources
- Frequently asked questions
- Helpful tips for health and well-being
- Prayer and meditation
- Staying safe online
- House and Year pages
St Patrick’s College Townsville will aim to stay connected and mentally-well throughout this ordeal, emerging wiser, stronger and kinder on the other side with a refreshed excitement and passion for learning.

A Ministry in Mercy Partners
Acknowledgement of Country: We give thanks and respectfully acknowledge the Wulgurukaba people, the Traditional Custodians of this beautiful country whose land our College shares. We recognise their ongoing deep spiritual connection to this Country, and the care they gave for thousands of years. We also acknowledge the Bindal people as the neighbouring Custodians of their Country. We pay our respects to the Elders, past, present and emerging and extend that respect to other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples here today.
