Creative and Performing Arts
The Arts is one of four key priority focus areas at St Patrick's College College and, as such, a robust program is offered including instrumental, voice, drama, dance and visual arts as well as a range of extracurricular opportunities.
The Visual, Dramatic, Music, Instrumental extracurricular Arts program is available to all students from Years 7-12.
Music is an integral part of life at the College and all students participate through singing together at masses, liturgies and
assemblies. The program aims to promote student well-being, as well as enhanced levels of confidence and self-esteem. The practice of community singing or instrumental playing embodies a team-building philosophy of coming together in a non-competitive and supportive environment, where each student’s contribution is celebrated and valued.

Acknowledgement of Country: We give thanks and respectfully acknowledge the Gurrumbilbarra Wulgurukaba people, the Traditional Custodians of this beautiful country whose land our College shares. We recognise their ongoing deep spiritual connection to this Country, and the care they gave for thousands of years. We also acknowledge the Bindal people as the neighbouring Custodians of their Country. We pay our respects the Elders, past, present and emerging and extend that respect to other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples here today.
