Dare to imagine her future

MOTHER'S DAY BREAKFAST

“Here’s to strong women. May we know them, may we raise them, may we be them.”

Mother. Aunt. Grandmother. Cousin. Godmother. Teacher. Beloved family friend. These are the important women who care for our girls and who help them on the path to adulthood.

We look forward to celebrating with the important women in our students’ lives on Friday, 6 May. Held in the East Precinct auditorium, breakfast will begin at 7.00am. There will be prizes, raffles and music performances. We hope you will join us for this special celebration.

We are thrilled to partner with the Mater Hospital charity - Mater Chicks in Pink; any monies raised will go directly to this organisation. Mater Chicks in Pink is able to help alleviate the huge emotional and financial burden that comes with a breast cancer diagnosis for these women—so they can focus on the moments that matter most. It's a partnership we intend to honour and develop in the years to come, and hope to provide more opportunities for our community to engage in additional Chicks in Pink events, such as the International Women's Day Fun Run and Pinktober.

Tickets can be booked via Trybooking: https://www.trybooking.com/events/landing?eid=893865&

Due to limited places, and to allow as many of our College families to be part of this special breakfast, we respectfully ask that there is only one guest per student.

RSVP: Friday, 29 April.

Acknowledgement of Country: We give thanks and respectfully acknowledge the Gurrumbilbarra Wulgurukaba people, the Traditional Custodians of this beautiful country whose land our College shares. We recognise their ongoing deep spiritual connection to this Country, and the care they gave for thousands of years. We also acknowledge the Bindal people as the neighbouring Custodians of their Country. We pay our respects to the Elders, past, present and emerging and extend that respect to other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples here today.
