Dare to imagine

“Here’s to strong women. May we know them, may we raise them, may we be them.”

With Mother's Day just around the corner, we'd like to invite students and all of the amazing women in our students' lives to join us and celebrate.

Whether you're a mother, step-mother, grandmother, aunty, sister, cousin, godmother, or friend; let's come together for a morning filled with laughter, love, and appreciation. You deserve it!

Cost: $25 per attendee
Time: 7.15am to 8.45am
Date: Friday 5 May 2023
Location: The Palm House Restaurant, The Ville Resort-Casino

In 2022 and 2023, we were thrilled to partner with the Mater Hospital charity - Mater Chicks in Pink, a charity that is able to help alleviate the huge emotional and financial burden that comes with a breast cancer diagnosis for these women - so they can focus on the moments that matter most. It's a partnership we intend to honour and develop in the years to come, and hope to provide more opportunities for our community to engage in additional Chicks in Pink events, such as the International Women's Day Fun Run and Pinktober.

A Ministry in Mercy Partners

Acknowledgement of Country: We give thanks and respectfully acknowledge the Wulgurukaba people, the Traditional Custodians of this beautiful country whose land our College shares. We recognise their ongoing deep spiritual connection to this Country, and the care they gave for thousands of years. We also acknowledge the Bindal people as the neighbouring Custodians of their Country. We pay our respects to the Elders, past, present and emerging and extend that respect to other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples here today.
