Jason Bennett
Head of Year 7
Jason is a faith-driven and future-focused Catholic educator with over a decade of experience in Catholic education in Townsville. As a practising Catholic, he actively supports the Catholic identity of the school by integrating Gospel values into learning, relationships, and decision-making.
Jason holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from QUT, a Bachelor of Education (Primary) from the University of New England, a Bachelor of Arts (English) from James Cook University, and an Advanced Diploma of Information Technology.
Jason is passionate about fostering student engagement, confidence, and creativity both inside and beyond the classroom. He has led digital and curriculum innovation initiatives, implemented AI-supported literacy programs, coordinated music and technology programs, and delivered professional learning for staff. Committed to nurturing a respectful, high-care learning environment, Jason brings his expertise, pastoral care approach, and enthusiasm for learning to inspire young people to act with integrity, compassion, and curiosity.
