Maria Franettovich
Head of Department - Food Technology
Maria has been teaching for over 30 years and has a depth of experience in pastoral care and supporting students' emotional and social wellbeing. She holds a Diploma of Teaching (Secondary) and a Bachelor of Education as well as Certificates in Business Administration, Business, and Training and Assessment. Maria returns to the College in 2026, having previously served here from 2009-2024 in roles across curriculum, pastoral and leadership areas. She brings extensive educational experience and a deep understanding and love of the values of the College and its Mercy tradition.
