Prue Meier

Director of Business Operations

Introducing Prue Meier, a dedicated professional with a passion for education and keen eye for efficient management. As the Director of Business Operations, Prue oversees the strategic and intricate day-to-day business administration of the College, performing the functions of Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary to the Board. Prue holds a Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Commerce, Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. With a diverse background spanning the non-profit, mining and government sectors, Prue brings a wealth of experience to the role and ensures a supportive and nurturing environment for both staff and students. 

Beyond her commitment to the success and growth of the College, Prue is a proud mother of two boys and enjoys piecing together a jigsaw, casting a fishing line and spending time in the garden. Prue is an advocate for The Leukaemia Foundation and devoted volunteer at Brighter Lives.  Prue looks forward to supporting St Patrick's College Townsville as it continues to roll out the Strategic and Master Plan.

Patrick Morrow

Deputy Principal - Operations, Staff & Community

Patrick brings more than 26 years of experience in education, most recently at Matthew Flinders Anglican College on the Sunshine Coast, where he has held a variety of senior leadership positions and is currently Head of Learning Futures.

Nationally recognised for his innovative approach to teaching and learning, Patrick has led initiatives that enhance student outcomes, engagement and overall wellbeing. His leadership in staff development, curriculum design and technology integration has been acknowledged through national awards and sector-wide recognition.

Known for his integrity, empathy and collaborative style, Patrick values authentic relationships and seeks to empower both staff and students to achieve their best. He is deeply committed to service and community engagement and has contributed to numerous faith-based and charitable initiatives throughout his career. Patrick’s vision, warmth and dedication to building strong, connected school communities align beautifully with the Mercy values that guide St Patrick’s College Townsville.

Kristen Armitage

Deputy Principal - Students

Kristen joins our College community as the new Director of Students, bringing extensive leadership experience and a passion for student wellbeing. With a Master of Education in Guidance and Counselling and a strong pastoral leadership background since 2016, Kristen excels in creating supportive environments for students. She is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and recently received the 2024 Professor Gerry Tehan Psychology Teaching Award for Excellence.

As part of the College Leadership Team, Kristen will oversee Pastoral Care and Wellbeing, collaborating with key staff to ensure all students thrive. Outside of work, she has coached athletics for 20 years and supports the creative industries. Kristen is also a proud mother of two daughters in creative fields and shares her home with two Labradors. We are excited to welcome Kristen in 2025 and look forward to the positive impact she will bring.

Jacinta Collings

Deputy Principal - Academic

Jacinta has been a valued member of our College community for the past five years as Head of Faculty – Religion and brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in Catholic education across multiple dioceses.

A reflective and evidence-based leader, Jacinta is highly regarded for her expertise in curriculum development, staff mentoring and fostering a culture of collaboration and growth. In her new role, she will continue to strengthen the College’s academic programs and promote excellence in teaching and learning.

Isabel Bowrey

Director of Engagement, Marketing & Communications

Isabel joined St Patrick's College Townsville in 2023 and plays a key role in shaping how the College is seen and heard. As Director of Marketing & Communications, she works to ensure the College is presented authentically across all platforms, sharing the stories, values and spirit that make our community so special.

Isabel collaborates closely with staff and students to bring College events and initiatives to life, helping to create experiences that reflect our mission and leave a lasting impression on families and visitors alike.

A graduate of James Cook University, Isabel holds a Bachelor of Business with majors in Marketing & Communications and Tourism & Sustainable Management. She is passionate about empowering young women and is an active committee member of the Townsville Business Women’s Circle.

Outside of work, Isabel is a competitive touch football player and enjoys taking to the field alongside students - even if keeping up with their energy is sometimes a challenge.
