Kath Little

College Principal

Kath Little’s education career has spanned a period of almost thirty years, working across ranging schools in Queensland and London. During her career as a teacher, Kath has been responsible for the delivery of a comprehensive range of subjects across English and Humanities Faculties, including: Economics and Business, Critical Thinking and Philosophy, English, History, Legal Studies, Politics and International Relations, Religion and Study of Religion. She has worked across myriad leadership roles focused primarily on curriculum delivery, assessment design, high impact pedagogy, school improvement, learning management systems, educational well-being, mentoring, SET planning and senior pathways management, and she is recognised for her ability to work with staff to collectively enhance improvement outcomes, particularly in literacy, numeracy and Senior outcomes. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons), a Masters in Educational Leadership and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

A dedicated and passionate educator, she enjoys working with all stakeholders across schools: staff, students, parents and community, to lift outcomes to enhance opportunities for all. As a graduate of a Mercy School, she has a rich understanding of the Mercy charism and a passion for ensuring St Patrick’s College Townsville students are well prepared for a future which is both personally purposeful and values driven.

Prue Meier

Director of Business Operations

Introducing Prue Meier, Director of Business Operations at St Patrick’s College Townsville. Acting as the Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary to the Board, Prue provides strategic and operational leadership across the College’s business functions, with responsibility for financial management, corporate services, governance and company secretarial functions supporting the Board.

A Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Commerce and Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance, Prue also holds the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) Company Directors Course qualification. Her experience spans education, not-for-profit, mining and government environments, providing a broad perspective across financial management, governance, risk, strategy and organisational operations.

Prue is passionate about continuous improvement and transformation, with a focus on strengthening systems, processes and organisational capability to support sustainable growth and better outcomes. She works closely with the College Leadership Team and Board to translate strategy into practical initiatives, enhance operational effectiveness and ensure resources are aligned with the College’s strategic priorities.

Beyond her role at the College, Prue contributes to the broader community and professional sector through charitable advocacy and professional representation. She is an family advocate for the Children’s Cancer Institute and committee representative with Leukaemia Foundation, as well as contributing to the accounting profession through her involvement with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand regional committee.

In her role, Prue is focused on building a strong, contemporary business operations function that enables the College to respond effectively to changing needs, embrace opportunities for innovation and support the delivery of its Strategic and Master Plans.

Jacinta Collings

Deputy Principal - Academic

Jacinta has been a valued member of our College community for the past five years as Head of Faculty – Religion and brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in Catholic education across multiple dioceses.

A reflective and evidence-based leader, Jacinta is highly regarded for her expertise in curriculum development, staff mentoring and fostering a culture of collaboration and growth. In her new role, she will continue to strengthen the College’s academic programs and promote excellence in teaching and learning.

Kristen Armitage

Deputy Principal - Students (Day & Boarding)

Kristen is the College’s Deputy Principal - Students (Day & Boarding), bringing extensive leadership experience and a strong commitment to student wellbeing. She holds Master of Education, degrees in Guidance and Counselling and Leadership, and is skilled in creating supportive environments that improve holistic student outcomes. During her 18 years teaching junior and senior science, she received the 2024 Professor Gerry Tehan Psychology Teaching Award for Excellence. She has also held various QCAA roles in endorsement, confirmation, marking and subject expertise.

As a member of the College Leadership Team, Kristen oversees Pastoral Care and Wellbeing across day and boarding, working with key staff to help every student thrive. Beyond the College, she has coached athletics for 20 years and supports the creative industries. She is a proud mother of two daughters who work in creative fields and shares her home with two Labradors.

Patrick Morrow

Deputy Principal - Operations, Staff & Community

Patrick brings more than 26 years of experience in education, most recently at Matthew Flinders Anglican College on the Sunshine Coast, where he has held a variety of senior leadership positions and is currently Head of Learning Futures.

Nationally recognised for his innovative approach to teaching and learning, Patrick has led initiatives that enhance student outcomes, engagement and overall wellbeing. His leadership in staff development, curriculum design and technology integration has been acknowledged through national awards and sector-wide recognition.

Known for his integrity, empathy and collaborative style, Patrick values authentic relationships and seeks to empower both staff and students to achieve their best. He is deeply committed to service and community engagement and has contributed to numerous faith-based and charitable initiatives throughout his career. Patrick’s vision, warmth and dedication to building strong, connected school communities align beautifully with the Mercy values that guide St Patrick’s College Townsville.

Isabel Bowrey

Director of Engagement, Marketing & Communications

Isabel joined St Patrick's College Townsville in 2023 and plays a key role in shaping how the College is seen and heard. As Director of Engagement, Marketing & Communications, she works to ensure the College is presented authentically across all platforms, sharing the stories, values and achievements that make the College community unique.

Working closely with staff and students, Isabel brings College events, initiatives and campaigns to life, helping to showcase the opportunities available to students and the people and experiences that make the College special.

A graduate of James Cook University, Isabel holds a Bachelor of Business with majors in Marketing & Communications and Tourism & Sustainable Management. She is passionate about empowering young women and is an active committee member of the Townsville Business Women’s Circle.
